Friends of Herring Run Parks had a beautiful day and a terrific group of volunteers for the Maryland Day of Service, Free the Trees event held on Saturday, September 27, 2014.

Several volunteers gathered in the woods on Morgan State University campus to lop, snip, saw, and cut invasive English Ivy from the trees behind the Communications Building located on Hillen Road.

We thank our volunteers for making the event a HUGE success!
